Noble Energy, an international oil and gas producer with onshore and offshore operations worldwide, needed reliable protection for roughly 742 TB of mixed unstructured data (about 412 million files) across three main sites in Denver, Houston, and Ardmore. Their existing Backup Exec solution left “lots of unprotected data” and offered insufficient disaster-recovery options given the industry’s hazardous conditions.
