vHost is a leading VPS and Cloud VPS provider in Vietnam that was losing customers due to storage reliability and performance problems — frequent downtime, low IOPS, poor vendor support, and time-consuming management. After testing several software and commercial products (Ceph, ZFS, Virtuozzo Storage, VMware vSAN), vHost chose StorPool and deployed StorPool Storage to replace their unstable storage stack.

StorPool implemented a distributed primary block storage solution that proved far more stable and performant: in a 3‑server test StorPool delivered ~160,000 IOPS (versus ~60,000 for vSAN and ~16,000 for Virtuozzo) with read latency 0.211 ms and write latency 0.281 ms. As a result, StorPool enabled vHost to roughly double the number of VPSs hosted per physical server, eliminate downtime from node failures, raise customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and benefit from StorPool’s 24/7 professional support and infrastructure tuning.
