Coreix, a London-based managed hosting, colocation, cloud and network services provider, needed to replace slow, expensive legacy storage with a fast, scalable and cost-efficient solution for its public cloud customers. After evaluating options, Coreix selected StorPool and its SSD‑Hybrid software to meet requirements for speed, reliability and scalability.

StorPool deployed its SSD‑Hybrid software on an initial six‑node cluster in Coreix’s public cloud, delivering more than 300,000 IOPS at launch, ~0.2ms latency, tens of GB/s throughput and the ability to scale to 2 PB and over 1 million IOPS; the rollout improved uptime and enabled live migration, and Coreix plans to extend StorPool to hybrid and private cloud customers.
