GRG Public Resources Ltd, a UK-based 24/7 call-handling provider, struggled with limited VMware Essentials functionality and a cumbersome storage setup that prevented high availability and easy test environments without a SAN. To avoid adding more hardware, vendors or complexity, the company chose StorMagic and its SvSAN software to replace aging HP servers with two new Dell hosts and unlock VMware features without deploying a physical SAN.
