Druckerei Rindt GmbH & Co KG, an 80-year-old sheetfed offset printing company in Fulda, Germany, needed to replace a single-node Dell ESX server that created a single point of failure, delivered slow performance, and lacked capacity for future growth. Seeking a redundant, reliable and cost-effective VMware cluster, Druckerei Rindt selected StorMagic and its SvSAN software to meet high-capacity and high-performance requirements.

StorMagic implemented SvSAN on two Dell R740xD servers with SSD caching, running roughly ten VMs per server and integrated with VMware vCenter for management.
