Department of Public Expenditure & Reform digitizes 51,000 parliamentary questions with Storm Technology

The Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER), an Irish government department, sought to digitally transform its internal processes and improve the management of its information assets. To achieve this, DPER partnered with vendor Storm Technology to develop a series of centralized applications built on the SharePoint platform.

Storm Technology designed and implemented three custom SharePoint applications for DPER: e-Submissions, e-Parliamentary Questions, and e-docs. These solutions digitized and automated key workflows, leading to streamlined productivity, easier retrieval of information, and enhanced collaboration across departments. The project established a centralized platform that maximized return on investment and provided a foundation for future scalable solutions, with Storm Technology providing valuable innovation and expertise throughout the process.
