Dufresne Spencer Group (DSG) is a Memphis-based, fast-growing furniture retailer—formed in 2012 and now operating 42 stores with over 1,350 employees—that needed to move off an antiquated software platform. The legacy system could not scale, enforce consistent business rules across locations, or handle multi-state tax and postal requirements, so DSG sought a stable, scalable solution to streamline operations and support continued growth.

DSG implemented STORIS, converting multiple stores and completing its first physical inventory with the new platform. STORIS provided real-time barcode receiving, RF functionality, integrated financing, EDI, and a Data Warehouse for business intelligence, resulting in a more stable, intuitive system that enforces disciplined workflows, reduces shrink, improves inventory visibility and reporting, and delivers ongoing partner support to enable future expansion.
