Hyatt Hotels & Resorts worked with Stories Incorporated to improve awareness and participation in its annual internal awards and recognition program. With more than 500 properties worldwide, the HR team struggled to get enough nominations, and many general managers did not understand what it took for a property to be named Hotel of the Year or how the program tied to Hyatt’s core leadership values.

Stories Incorporated visited Hyatt Place Denver Airport, interviewed staff, and uncovered real stories of guest service and teamwork to create a story-focused microsite. The microsite combined custom illustration and interactive elements as both a rewards-and-recognition tool and a leadership development resource, helping increase awareness of the program and show what living the company values looks like.
