10 Federal Storage, a growing operator in central North Carolina, wanted to transition to a fully unmanned, self-service model to cut payroll and operating expenses while delivering a Redbox‑simple rental experience. To do this they partnered with storEDGE, deploying storEDGE Rental Center and storEDGE management software to support 24/7 leasing, payments, and customer interactions across their new and existing facilities.

storEDGE’s Rental Center and management platform were implemented on kiosks and iPads and integrated into 10 Federal’s broader tech stack (including Janus door locks and planned vending and cloud call‑center systems). The pilot produced strong adoption — at one site 100% of customer interactions moved to the kiosk/website — and enabled round‑the‑clock rentals, lower construction and operating costs (avoiding city annexation saved “a couple hundred thousand dollars” on one project), faster scaling to multiple properties, and record leasing milestones with storEDGE’s support.
