Castlerock Interests, LLC, led by owner Mike Castleman, is a fast-growing self storage operator that acquired three facilities and aims to run them largely unmanned, paperless, and with full operational visibility. To move from traditional, on-site management to remote, customer-friendly operations—covering online rentals, legal e-signatures, gate/security access and real-time visibility—Castlerock partnered with storEDGE for a modern website, software upgrade and integrated online rental tools.

storEDGE implemented a new website, upgraded management software, SEO, and e-sign/remote move-in functionality that lets customers complete rentals in under ten minutes and integrates with gate/security systems like PTI EasyCode. As a result of storEDGE’s platform, Flower Mound’s occupancy climbed to about 98% and gross revenue grew nearly 20% (with four price increases) without losing occupancy; Addison was converted to an unmanned model, reducing overhead, and Castlerock is moving toward removing kiosks altogether.
