LOGIS, a consortium of local government units in Minneapolis, needed an easy-to-use ad-hoc query and reporting tool for its in-house VB.Net and SQL Server application. Their challenge was deploying the software across multiple remote terminals on a complex WAN/fiber network while also allowing customization through additional scripting.

The solution was implemented quickly, trained users in about half a day, and now supports more than 260 end-users; LOGIS says Stonefield Query has been running successfully since February 2005 and remains its only recommended tool.
