Vermont Information Processing (VIP), a leading beverage-industry software company, needed an enterprise scheduler to automate its IBM iSeries environment. Using Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC), VIP centralized control of job scheduling, data pipeline orchestration, self-service automation, DevOps automation, and cloud service automation across a hybrid environment. The solution integrates with systems such as IBM iSeries, DataStage, AWS EC2, Snowflake, and Linux, helping VIP orchestrate nearly 300,000 jobs per day, cut its workload in half compared with before UAC, and save hundreds of thousands of dollars in processing power.
