MotoNovo Finance replaces Cron and Windows Scheduling Solution with Stonebranch

MotoNovo Finance, a rapidly expanding automotive finance firm operating about 100 virtual Windows and Linux servers, faced growing difficulty managing thousands of time- and event-based jobs with an ad hoc Cron and Windows scheduling solution. Seeking a centralized “single pane of glass” to control and monitor all executions, MotoNovo evaluated options and selected Stonebranch’s Universal Automation Center (UAC) to replace their legacy schedulers.

Stonebranch implemented UAC components (Universal Controller and Universal Agent) plus the Xpress Conversion Tool to convert Cron and Windows jobs without a heavy migration project. The solution delivered immediate, centralized visibility for all IT staff, reduced batch processing time through real-time resource control, and enabled self-service conversions and rapid agent deployment—improving operational quality and delivering a fast return on automation.
