Case Study: Achmea achieves hybrid IT control and workload automation consolidation with Stonebranch Universal Automation Center

A Stonebranch Case Study

Preview of the Achmea Case Study

Modern Workload Automation Platform Powers the Move to a Hybrid IT Environment

Achmea, the largest insurance provider in the Netherlands, needed a way to gain full control over file transfers and job scheduling across a complex hybrid IT landscape spanning mainframe, on-premises, private cloud, and public cloud environments. As the company moved from legacy tools and point-to-point transfers to a cloud-first, data-first strategy, it turned to Stonebranch and its Universal Automation Center (UAC) to support a single, unified automation platform.

Stonebranch implemented UAC with integrated file transfer and workload automation to consolidate multiple legacy schedulers and transfer tools into one solution. The result was full visibility and control over more than 4 million jobs run each month, reduced annual licensing costs, and a smaller team operating more efficiently. Stonebranch also gave Achmea a solid foundation for orchestrating data pipelines and future automation initiatives.
