HUK-COBURG, Germany’s largest auto insurer with over 11 million customers, faced growing complexity from an increasing number of decentralized IT systems and needed a future‑proof way to simplify operations, improve workflows and support robust file transfer and SAP integration. The insurer selected Stonebranch and its Universal Agent platform with the integrated Universal Data Mover (MFT) to provide the required managed file transfer, scheduling and SAP connectivity.

Stonebranch implemented Universal Agent (and UDM), enabling seamless integration with IBM TWS, both synchronous and asynchronous file transfers, and SAP scheduling without additional SAP installs. The solution delivered measurable impact: a 17‑year partnership, more than 60 Universal Agents managing over 20,000 jobs across decentralized systems, faster and more stable file transfers, centralized secure traceability, cost effectiveness, scalability and improved operational control.
