Why Localize uses Stitch to fill its data warehouse

Localize, a real-estate data company that aggregates property-level information for New York City and delivers insights to users’ smartphones, needed a fast way to populate its Amazon Redshift warehouse. Zeev Shteiman’s BI team was building the infrastructure but didn’t have time to implement ETL or write an Airflow operator to pull Facebook Ads data.

They adopted Stitch, a self-serve ETL solution, to connect Facebook Ads to Redshift quickly and at no cost for their small data volume, which saved weeks of development and testing. Stitch was later used for Salesforce, Google Analytics, and SendGrid integrations, allowing the BI team to focus on business-specific development and maintain startup agility.
