Case Study: Trusk achieves a unified PostgreSQL data warehouse and faster analytics with Stitch

A Stitch Case Study

Preview of the Trusk Case Study

Trusk moves household goods, and PostgreSQL data

Trusk is a French on-demand carrier marketplace — the “Uber of carriers” — that moves household goods and connects consumers with local truck drivers. After outgrowing a Node.js/MongoDB monolith, the team migrated to microservices with multiple PostgreSQL databases, which fragmented their data and prevented Metabase from building the dashboards and reports needed by customers, investors, and operations.

To solve this, Trusk used Stitch to ETL their disparate PostgreSQL microservices into a single PostgreSQL data warehouse, a process that took only a couple of days and restored cross-service querying and reporting. The team praised Stitch’s UX and support, and while they still need a unified search solution (Stitch lacks Elasticsearch integration), they plan to expose the warehouse via a PostGraphQL API as an interim approach.
