Tape à l’Oeil Real-time data for fun and fashion from newborn to age 16

Tape à l’Oeil is a French children’s clothing retailer (ages 0–16) with about 250 stores in France, international outlets, and roughly 1,000 employees. As online sales grew to about 20% of the business and omnichannel behavior increased—accelerated by COVID-19—the company needed to move from nightly batch processes to real-time data flows to support inventory, store operations, product development, and customer personalization.

The company implemented a new cloud data platform (SAP and Snowflake) and adopted Talend and Stitch to orchestrate and ingest internal and external data (including web traffic and Facebook/Instagram campaign data). In under six months they built ~100 data streams, made analytics self-service, cut register reporting from a day to under 10 minutes, improved supply‑chain agility and product feedback loops, and enabled richer customer marketing and predictive models that support faster growth.
