Consultant builds client reporting system with assist from Stitch

Deploy Software Solutions, a one-person Ontario consulting firm led by founder Nicholas Kellett, provides enterprise consulting, data and application architecture for ISVs and professional services firms. Kellett needed to design and build a proof-of-concept data warehouse schema to drive many client reports, handling complex and changing business rules and six disparate data sources—an especially time-sensitive challenge for a solo consultant.

By using Stitch to create schemas in Amazon Aurora, synchronize test data to Amazon Redshift, and script report queries, Kellett could iterate schema changes quickly during weekly client reviews; Stitch Support also provided fast help when a sync failed. The approach saved an estimated 160 hours and allowed him to finalize a POC with confidence it would work in production.
