A Stink Studios Case Study
Strava approached Stink Studios to help reward its users at the end of 2014 by creating a unique, personalised highlights reel of each athlete’s year. The project was built as a mobile-first experience and used the Strava API.
Stink Studios developed a web app that dynamically compiled individual athlete data, including distance, achievements, kudos, and Instagram images. The film was created in real time and shown back to users in just a few seconds, making it easy to share on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. The campaign produced over 120,000 videos in just 24 hours.
