Dewars worked with Stink Studios to create a stronger connection between the craftspeople at the Aberfeldy distillery and the people who drink Dewar’s. The brief centered on a campaign that began at purchase, with customers scanning a unique number on the bottle to reach a mobile experience.

Stink Studios built a site that sent visitors on a timelapsed journey from their location to the distillery, and the experience triggered a physical installation in the Aberfeldy distillery visitor centre. Each site visit updated a real whiskey-barrel display with spinning brass cogs forming the Dewar’s logo and vintage lights showing the latest tally of virtual visitors, while the system could also be managed remotely.
