180 LA came to Stink Studios with a difficult brief: create an original track in real time from YouTube comments. The project was built to support HP’s new hybrid laptop/tablet, the HP Split x2, and to make audience input part of the experience.

Stink Studios created 2DaysBeats, a two-day live event with producer Clams Casino and hip-hop MC Vic Mensa. Over ten hours, the team moderated and visualized more than 10,000 YouTube comments while creating three new tracks, “Egyptian Cotton,” “Think Sleep” and “Cloud 9.”
