VIA Rail Chooses Stingray as Music Partner

Via Rail sought to enhance the onboard and station experience for travellers along its Québec City–Windsor corridor by adding curated music and better passenger information. Stingray Business was selected as the music and digital-signage partner, delivering the Stingray Music mobile app and new digital signage solutions to address entertainment and wayfinding needs.

Stingray Business provided VIA Rail passengers free, six-month access to the Stingray Music app via onboard Wi‑Fi, offering 50+ channels curated for VIA plus access to some 2,000 channels across 100+ genres, and installed digital signage in major stations to improve visibility and real-time information. The program enhances the customer experience for VIA Rail’s nearly four million annual passengers, showcases Canadian talent and gives VIA greater flexibility in communicating with travellers.
