Zehnder is a Swiss manufacturer of indoor climate systems with about 4,000 employees, production sites across Europe, North America and China, and products sold in over 70 countries. Growing product complexity (around 20,000 material masters in SAP and millions of configured variants) and a stand‑alone, manually maintained PIM led to fragmented data, slow data delivery, lengthy SAP extracts and delays in getting information to marketing and trading platforms.

In 2021 Zehnder moved to Stibo Systems’ cloud MDM (SaaS) as the backbone for an integrated PIM, adding adapters for connectivity and automating SAP updates for configured products. Centralizing product data created a single source of truth, delivering faster, more reliable exports, shorter time‑to‑market, quicker product onboarding and overall time and cost efficiencies while improving data quality and transparency.
