SRAM, a 25-year-old maker of high-end bicycle components that now includes brands like Avid, RockShox and Truvativ and holds more than 15% of the $3.5B components market, relied on a B2B website that was updated manually once a year and disconnected from its product lifecycle management (PLM) system. The result was redundant data entry, slow and error-prone updates, and marketing and customers often lacking timely, trusted product information.

SRAM implemented Stibo Systems MDM alongside its ecommerce platform (Hybris), connecting engineering/PLM data to marketing so product details are created automatically as engineering begins development.
