By Malene Birger is a Danish fashion label scaling rapidly — sold in 900 stores across 40+ countries — and aimed to accelerate geographic and online expansion. The company faced a complex seasonal product life cycle with frequent product changes, needed consistent data quality and brand control across channels, and wanted to reduce dependency on multiple internal systems by creating a single source of product information.

To solve this, By Malene Birger implemented Stibo Systems’ STEP MDM in six months as a central hub feeding webshops and other channels, managing some 300,000 photos/templates and product records in multiple languages. The platform delivered versioning for seasonal collections, sped catalogue production from weeks to days, improved agility for cross- and upsell and market testing, and ensured consistent, up-to-date product information to support omni-channel growth and brand protection.
