Professional services empower portfolio standardization

Nautilus Solar Energy, an acquirer, developer, and operator of community solar projects, needed a centralized, scalable way to manage a rapidly growing portfolio. Proprietary cell modems and inconsistent DAS/SCADA setups made onboarding slow and reporting unreliable, so Nautilus partnered with Stem and adopted an edge-to-cloud monitoring approach using PowerTrack and associated professional services to standardize data configuration and enable rapid remote visibility.

Stem implemented codesigned templates, preconfigured cellular gateways, and integration services (including API ingestion for legacy sites) so new assets could report real-time data within days of energization, with remote SCADA access and standardized analytics and reporting. The result: Nautilus scaled from roughly 26 MW to more than 230 MW in about 2½ years, improved uptime and O&M efficiency, achieved consistent production estimates and alerting, and is on track to manage 1 GW by 2028 under Stem’s solution.
