Elite Electric Optimizes Customer’s Solar Plus Storage Project with Stem’s Expertise

Elite Electric Inc., a Riverside, CA electrical and solar contractor, faced the common challenge of procuring and optimizing a solar-plus-storage system for commercial EPC projects—finding vendors who could deliver a fully integrated, optimized solution. To address this for a food-retailer carport project in San Diego, Elite Electric partnered with Stem for battery equipment, metering and aggregation, and Athena software to ensure end-to-end system optimization and dependable technical support.

Stem, together with distributor Greentech Renewables, supplied the battery hardware, software, and bill of materials, streamlined procurement, and provided ongoing technical backup, enabling Elite to commission a 111 kW / 223 kWh energy storage system that went operational in Q1 2022. The integrated Stem offering improved project delivery and reliability, with Elite citing faster procurement, optimized design, and one-call support throughout the project lifecycle.
