Case Study: FANUC achieves standardized ERP across Europe with Steltix and Oracle JD Edwards

Steltix helps FANUC unite legal entities and business processes in various European countries

Fanuc, a global leader in factory automation, faced the challenge of consolidating numerous disparate ERP systems across more than 30 European subsidiaries. They needed to standardize operations for over 1,200 employees within a 24-month timeframe. To address this, Fanuc turned to vendor Steltix for help implementing a unified Oracle JD Edwards ERP solution.

Steltix leveraged its Europe-wide implementation experience and in-country knowledge to successfully roll out JD Edwards across all sites. The solution provided the flexibility to handle a major organizational change mid-project, merging divisions into single legal entities per country. The results were highly effective, with the system now natively handling over 200,000 monthly warehouse transactions and 10,000 shipments. All European entities operate on a standardized chart of accounts and can report numbers just three days after month-end closing, while new sites can be deployed with the template in just eight weeks.
