Elementis, a global specialty chemicals company, embarked on a project to replace its existing SAP ERP systems with a single, global JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solution to drive business simplicity. Their challenge was to implement and localize JDE across their Asian operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced a high-risk remote cut-over instead of the planned on-site go-live.

Steltix successfully managed the remote implementation, deploying 12 consultants to roll out JDE's Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Financials modules across three sites in China and one in Taiwan. The key to success was constant communication and expert project management, which resulted in a cut-over with no business impact. The partnership, which spans over a decade, has enabled Elementis to scale its operations, and Steltix continues to be entrusted as their Managed Service Provider for technical support.
