Skyland Analytics Improves Customer Responsiveness and Operational Efficiency with AWS and Stelligent mu Framework

Skyland Analytics, a provider of data analytics and data management software for process manufacturers, needed a faster way to launch customer-specific environments without spending months manually building each new one. To solve this, Skyland engaged Stelligent to migrate its Centralized Limit Management (CLM) application from Heroku to AWS and take advantage of Stelligent’s DevOps Management Service and mu Microservice Framework.

Stelligent implemented an automated AWS CodePipeline-based solution using mu, Docker, Amazon ECS, AWS CloudFormation, Amazon VPC, and Amazon RDS to provision secure, highly available environments for build, acceptance, and production. The result was improved customer responsiveness, stronger security, and greater operational efficiency, enabling Skyland to provision and deprovision environments on demand while reducing deployment time and lowering development and testing costs.
