RosettaHealth, a healthcare software company, needed a HIPAA-compliant way to store and retrieve large volumes of structured clinical records, logs, and supporting data while keeping costs under control. Working with Stelligent, they looked for a scalable storage approach on AWS that could support both short-term exchange needs and longer-term searchable repository use cases.

Stelligent designed a solution using Amazon S3 for document storage with encryption, lifecycle policies, and bucket access controls, while keeping MongoDB for searchable data and adding Amazon Redshift for analytics. This reduced the amount of data stored in the third-party MongoDB environment, lowered storage costs, and improved archival and analytics capabilities for RosettaHealth’s patient search and research needs.
