A SteelHouse Case Study
Taft, a direct-to-consumer maker of high-quality shoes and boots, needed to grow sales among new customers without raising acquisition costs. They turned to SteelHouse to create highly engaging prospecting video ads using Facebook Collections to showcase their men’s footwear and drive new-user conversions.
SteelHouse built a custom look‑alike audience (excluding past purchasers and recent site traffic), used Mobile Feed placements optimized for conversions (7‑day click/1‑day view), and A/B tested four Collection creatives. The campaign reached over 1,000,000 users, achieved a 1.66% CTR, drove a 73% increase in site traffic, delivered an overall ROAS of 10.19 (click ROAS 4.55), and coincided with a tripling of display ROAS and a >60% reduction in CPA; Taft has since increased budget and will apply the learnings across full‑funnel strategies.
