A StaySafe Case Study

i-Systems - Customer Case Study

i-Systems, an independent IT, telecommunications and electrical services provider, faced lone-worker safety risks because engineers often work alone or on flexible, project-based schedules and perform high-risk tasks such as working with electrics and at height. To replace a manual administrative system and better meet its legal duty of care, i-Systems adopted the StaySafe solution (the StaySafe app and online hub).

StaySafe implemented its session-based app and monitoring hub so engineers can activate protection only when needed; the system tracks location during sessions and sends alerts via text, email and the hub if an employee triggers an alert or misses a check-in. StaySafe’s features (panic, discreet panic, duress PIN, non-movement alerts and configurable safety prompts) reduced administrative burden, saved time for the business and gave i-Systems and its engineers greater confidence and peace of mind in meeting duty-of-care obligations.
