Case Study: Ermha achieves enhanced lone worker safety and peace of mind with StaySafe

A StaySafe Case Study

Preview of the Ermha Case Study

Ermha - Customer Case Study

Ermha is a not-for-profit in South‑East Australia supporting vulnerable people with disability, mental illness, homelessness, trauma and substance abuse. To deliver one‑to‑one community support Ermha relies on a network of lone workers and recognised the safety risks this posed, so they adopted StaySafe’s lone worker safety app and monitoring service to better protect staff working alone.

StaySafe implemented an app-plus-Hub system where users start timed sessions that share live location and status to Ermha’s StaySafe Hub, allow check‑ins or panic alerts, and enable SMS broadcasts and map‑based monitoring. StaySafe set up team Hubs and two SuperHubs to manage 150 lone workers across Victoria; the system was quickly deployed, used to locate staff and issue a warning during a public incident on 18 November 2016, and has delivered faster incident response, improved compliance and greater peace of mind for Ermha’s teams.
