Case Study: Dennis Eagle achieves improved lone-worker safety and faster emergency response with StaySafe

A StaySafe Case Study

Preview of the Dennis Eagle Case Study

Dennis Eagle use StaySafe to monitor the safety of mobile engineers in the live working environment

Dennis Eagle, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of refuse collection vehicles, faced the challenge of protecting mobile engineers who service vehicles at workshops, customer sites and roadsides where direct supervision is not guaranteed. To address unpredictable, high‑risk lone working environments they selected StaySafe’s lone worker safety solution (the StaySafe app and Hub) to provide a practical, real‑time monitoring tool beyond their paper policy.

StaySafe rolled out the app across Dennis Eagle’s UK mobile engineers (plus a shared device for lone evening office workers) with a one‑hour check‑in interval, GPS location tracking, man‑down/non‑movement alerts and multiple notifications to nominated monitors. Service managers were set up in the StaySafe Hub for 24/7 monitoring and response; the company now uses StaySafe’s map view and monthly usage reports to demonstrate coverage, improve compliance and reassure staff—managers can locate and respond to incidents even if an employee is unconscious.
