A StaySafe Case Study
Clinton Devon Estates, a 10,000-hectare rural estate across East and North Devon, needed a reliable way to protect lone workers who carry out off-site duties—from site visits and heavy machinery use to working at height and entering tenants' homes—often in areas with limited mobile signal. To address these risks the estate launched the StaySafe Lone Worker monitoring app from StaySafe to monitor staff, enable quick location and distress signalling, and meet its duty of care.
StaySafe implemented timed check-ins, non-movement detection, discreet panic alerts and live-map location tracking that operate even on basic 2G signal, with alerts routed instantly to a central monitoring Hub. The result for Clinton Devon Estates was immediate location-aware emergency response, fewer manual check-ins, and greater staff reassurance and efficiency—staff and managers report quicker, accurate notifications and more time to focus on core duties thanks to StaySafe.
