The customer, Renovator Store, is a popular Australian online retailer of renovation materials. Facing the end of life for their Magento 1 Open Source platform, they needed to migrate to a more scalable solution. Their challenge was a complex migration to Magento Commerce Cloud, complicated by a multistore setup, legacy customizations, and extremely limited access to their existing store. They hired the vendor Staylime to perform this migration.

Staylime successfully executed the migration despite numerous technical hurdles, including database errors and extension incompatibilities. They migrated all data, integrated a B2B module, and consolidated the store's blog and reward points system onto the new platform. After a delta migration to account for design changes made by another vendor, the project was completed.
