GameDay, a Swedish sports apparel retailer, faced the challenge of migrating its outdated Magento 1 store to Magento 2 and developing a new, modern theme to improve user experience and drive conversions. They partnered with the vendor Staylime for Magento migration, extension installation, and custom frontend development services to achieve these goals.

Staylime successfully executed the migration, installed key extensions, and developed a custom Magento theme with a unique mega-menu and improved navigation. They also created custom functionality for product grouping and analytics integration. Despite significant delays caused by a third-party vendor and the customer's internal communication issues, Staylime delivered the project in line with initial requirements. However, the store's launch was ultimately put on hold due to GameDay undergoing corporate restructuring.
