PatientNow’s Billing Transition to Stax Bill

PatientNow, a provider of software for aesthetics and wellness practices, was struggling with manual billing in NetSuite and limited visibility into its data as the company grew through multiple acquisitions. With three different billing systems in use across NetSuite, Zoho, and Recurly, PatientNow needed a more scalable, automated approach to unify reporting, customer management, and contract handling. It chose Stax Bill to help modernize its billing operations.

Stax Bill helped PatientNow automate billing, standardize payments, improve accounts receivable management, and speed up book closing and cash flow forecasting. The transition also added useful features like MRR trend reporting, parent-child account relationships, and better customer communication. As a measurable result, PatientNow migrated 4,500 customers from three platforms to Stax Bill and moved all customers to a unified billing date on the first of the month.
