Vattenfall Distribution Poland, part of Vattenfall A.B., manages energy origination and electricity trading across Central and Eastern Europe. To confirm the quality of large volumes of low-voltage network data collected via a centralized SONET system, Vattenfall found that manual, site-by-site verification would be prohibitively time-consuming and costly.

StatSoft Polska deployed STATISTICA Data Miner to select representative samples from the SONET data, calculate data-quality indices, and extrapolate those results across the entire network. The solution integrated with SONET, significantly reduced project time and costs, and delivered accurate, network-wide quality assessments without requiring on-site checks of every appliance.
