University of St. Cyril and Methodius - Customer Case Study

The University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, a Christian higher-education institution in Slovakia, needed a robust, credible statistical solution to raise the quality and visibility of its scientific research. The Faculty of Natural Sciences had been using basic tools like Excel and required advanced software that would support rigorous analysis and be respected by external scientific communities to improve publications and funding prospects.

UCM implemented STATISTICA Base and STATISTICA Data Miner from StatSoft CR—installed in a day with minimal support and standard training—and began using them for clinical, chemical and experimental data analysis. As a result, publication activity and institutional competitiveness have increased, helping the university obtain better credit and funding; the tools are also being rolled out into classrooms to boost student research skills and career readiness.
