Pepsi Hungary, a PepsiCo-owned bottler producing brands like Pepsi, 7Up and Mirinda, needed a more effective SPC solution to meet strict quality requirements. Their legacy system made multi-parameter and long-period analyses slow and difficult; quality managers needed tools to monitor and control key measures (sugar, CO2, acidity, volume, cap tightness), detect trends and root causes, assess machine capability, and reduce waste and carbon footprint.

StatSoft implemented a customized STATISTICA Enterprise SPC system integrated with Pepsi Hungary’s existing third‑party data collection SQL database to perform statistical analyses and generate tailored reports. The new system delivers up-to-date process capability indices and historical analysis by day, week or any period, enabling faster remedial decisions, improved product quality and process capability, and better financial performance — with plans to add automated daily executive reports and expand SPC-controlled data for sustainable growth.
