Case Study: WizNucleus achieves continuous high availability and $5,000 savings with StarWind Software's Virtual SAN

A StarWind Software Case Study

Preview of the WizNucleus Case Study

WizNucleus gains continuous high availability (HA) with StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN)

WizNucleus, a New York–based IT and software provider for critical infrastructure cybersecurity, faced a need to deliver high availability (HA) and fault tolerance (FT) for its VMware ESXi environment while avoiding costly new hardware. With only two standalone servers using local storage and VMware vSAN too expensive for its budget, the company sought a shared storage solution that would improve performance and reliability without a major capital outlay.

WizNucleus deployed StarWind Virtual SAN to create a two-node failover cluster on its existing servers, achieving continuous HA and FT without buying a third server. The deployment, supported by StarWind’s team, preserved hardware investments, boosted infrastructure resilience and saved the company roughly $5,000.
