Tipton Community School Corporation, a K–12 district with an elementary, middle and high school, needed a cost-effective way to maintain off-site backups. Their existing NetVault Backup solution could not support off-site storage, creating a gap in their disaster-recovery strategy.

By deploying StarWind Virtual SAN, TCSC gained hardware-agnostic, iSCSI-presented storage that enabled off-site backups without a large capital outlay. The solution made better use of existing hardware, delivered improved performance, and resulted in a reliable, cost-efficient backup environment.
