Case Study: The Roscoe Company achieves disaster recovery and high availability with StarWind Software VSAN

A StarWind Software Case Study

Preview of the The Roscoe Company Case Study

The Roscoe Company built a stretched cluster and ensured fault tolerance for its client’s IT infrastructure with StarWind

The Roscoe Company, a U.S. garment supplier and managed service provider, was supporting a client whose infrastructure relied on standalone Microsoft Hyper‑V hosts with no redundancy. Frequent power and cooling issues at the server site left the client without disaster recovery or fault tolerance, and existing shared‑storage solutions that could fix this were too costly.

Roscoe deployed StarWind Virtual SAN to create a stretched, active‑active failover cluster with synchronous replication between sites, enabling near‑instant failover of virtual servers. The deployment delivered high availability and business continuity despite site outages, reduced storage costs, and now lets Roscoe reliably host clients’ VMs and scale the solution for future customers.
