Telent Technology Services Ltd, a British specialist that designs, builds and manages critical digital infrastructure including London-wide CCTV, faced operational risk from its CCTV deployment: a primary-site application and database server with a non-replicated backup at a secondary site. Changes had to be made on both servers, often producing mismatched configurations, and there was no seamless failover or centralized configuration management.

Telent deployed StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN), using existing hardware to present duplicated disks for Microsoft Failover Clustering. The solution centralized CCTV configuration in a single replicated database, removed the need to duplicate changes across servers, enabled automatic multi-site failover without manual intervention, reduced configuration time, and provided a scalable, cost-effective architecture.
