A StarWind Software Case Study
Synergium, an international translation and localization company headquartered in Sweden, was running a two-node Hyper-V cluster backed by a physical HDD SAN and several standalone servers. That SAN represented a single point of failure (SPOF), threatening performance, security and business continuity; after evaluating software-defined options (including Microsoft S2D), Synergium selected StarWind VSAN.
StarWind VSAN eliminated the physical SAN by creating a fault-tolerant, highly available software-defined storage pool and enabled a high-availability cluster, removing the SPOF and delivering improved performance without expensive new hardware. With hands-on support from StarWind during installation and configuration, Synergium achieved a resilient, high-performing IT environment at an attractive cost.
