Case Study: VoicePulse achieves high-availability, resilient VoIP infrastructure with StarWind Software

A StarWind Software Case Study

Preview of the VoicePulse Case Study

StarWind cruises to the Voice-over-IP business to ensure the next generation of company’s services

VoicePulse, a US-based VoIP provider since 2003 offering business and residential phone services, needed to virtualize a mixed Windows/Linux infrastructure to scale and ensure service continuity. Because their environment used both Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere, they required a proven, high-performance shared storage solution that was highly available, affordable, and simple for existing administrators to deploy and maintain.

They deployed StarWind Virtual SAN, which ran on standard hardware and was supported for both Hyper-V and ESX, making integration and management straightforward. Tests showed performance was hardware-limited and failover was seamless; the deployment delivered a SAN across mixed environments, high availability, eliminated downtime, avoided costly proprietary hardware, and gave VoicePulse confidence in continuing reliable service delivery.
