Traditional shared-storage approaches for Hyper-V failover clusters are expensive, complex, and require specialized skills that security systems integrators want to avoid.

Bosch partnered with StarWind to deploy StarWind Virtual SAN, a software-defined storage that mirrors local disks between hosts so BVMS and BIS can run on a two-node Hyper-V failover cluster without an external SAN. The result is a highly available, high-performance solution with lower capital and power costs, reduced physical footprint, and simpler setup and maintenance for Bosch partners.
